GOVERNOR'S ONAM GREETINGS

Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has extended his heartiest Onam greetings to the people of Keralam and Malayalis all over the world.

In his message, the Governor said:

"Onam, Kerala's most cherished festival, marks the joyous visit of Maharaja Mahabali to his beloved subjects. Its sunshine, flowers, and songs fill our land and hearts with radiance.

Onam transcends caste, creed and religion, carrying forward the timeless message of equality, harmony, and hope for a just world. The traditional attire, the grand Onasadhya, and the spirit of dynamic togetherness make it truly unforgettable.

As I celebrate my second Onam in this beautiful state, I pray that its blessings of peace and prosperity reach every home in Kerala.

ഗവർണറുടെ ഓണസന്ദേശം

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കേരള ജനതയ്ക്കും ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള മലയാളികൾക്കും ഗവർണർ രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് ആർലേക്കർ ഹൃദയംഗമമായ ഓണാശംസകൾ നേർന്നു.

"കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ഉത്സവമായ ഓണം, തന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ജനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് മഹാബലി തമ്പുരാൻ തിരിച്ചെത്തുന്ന ആഹ്ലാദകരമായ സന്ദർഭമാണ്. ഓണത്തിന്റെ സൂര്യപ്രകാശവും പൂക്കളും പാട്ടുകളും നമ്മുടെ നാടിനെയും ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും പ്രഭാപൂരിതമാക്കുന്നു.

ജാതി-മത ഭേദമന്യേ എല്ലാവരെയും ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഓണം, സമത്വത്തിന്റെയും സൗഹാർദ്ദത്തിന്റെയും നീതിനിഷ്ഠമായ ലോകത്തിനായുള്ള പ്രത്യാശയുടെയും സന്ദേശം മുന്നോട്ടുവയ്ക്കുന്നു. പരമ്പരാഗത വേഷവിധാനവും ഓണസദ്യയും ഒത്തൊരുമയുടെ ചൈതന്യവും ഈ ഉത്സവത്തെ അവിസ്മരണീയമാക്കുന്നു.
